Hey folks. It really bugs me when I don't release a new track for a long time, so I thought I'd fill you in on some things. Up till recently I've been in a bit of a musical dry spell, plus occupied with Protagonist. However, I've also been working with a talented indie game development team on a game containing new music by me! We've been in pre-production and planning for a while, in which I've contributed a ton to the core concepts of the gameplay. Now production has started in earnest, and I'm very excited!
The game is a hybrid of a music game and some other genre available on Xbox Live Community Games and possibly on PC. I'm not going to say much about it yet, but the music will be tight, and you'll be interacting with the music in cool ways.
I'm tentatively planning on releasing an OST of the music. I may not be offering any downloads until the game is done. We'll see.

Just a quick note to let you know that I've taken down the sgxmusic.com forums and moved the forum link on the top nav to the SGX section of the Protagonist Records site forums. The old forums I neglected for a bit and became overrun with spambots, which I apologize for. Please sign up at the newer forums on Protag and participate!

The record is still cheaper via the Protagonist Records store, and I make more money that way, but hey, I thought I'd let ya know about it! Check out some of the other tunes on Ambient-Moods.

SGXRMX3, the third SGX Remix Project will be open for remixing soon. I'll be making available stem files for Have No Tyrant, Hero of the Grey Area, A Meal for a Whale, and Amity, and anyone can try their hand at making a remix for inclusion on in the SGXRMX3 album, proceeds of sales going to a charity. Details coming next week. Get ready!
